VUT ready to welcome back limited students

“The first group of students who will be allowed to report back on campus are only the senior final year students.”

SEDIBENG.- The Vaal University of Technology is ready to welcome the first batch of students next week.

The institutions’ Mike Khuboni, Executive Director of Advancement, said that the first group of students who will be allowed to report back on campus are only the senior final year students (3rd years, Masters etc.) of about 2500/3000 students who also need to use laboratories in completing their final year of study.

“VUT Management has put in place a COVID-19 Task Team which will ensure strict compliance and that every staff and student reporting on campus follow strictly the COVID-19 protocols, every staff (limited number of personnel) and students entering the campus will be subjected to testing for temperature and will also be sanitized and provided with a mask which must be worn at all times when they are on campus. Regular random sanitizing and testing of workplace and people will take place and will be the order of the day going forward.”
