This is what the SPCA can do during Lockdown Level 4

As the SPCA Parys is an essential service provider, the organi- sation’s inspector is out in the field assisting people and their animals. Meanwhile, at the SPCA’s office, the public brings in stray and unwanted animals.

The kennels operate as normal and support the community on an ongoing basis. Animals are still being boarded at the SPCA.
There are currently restrictions in terms of the number of people who are allowed at the offices. Visitors are required to wear a mask and use a hand sanitiser as per the national Covid-19 regulations.

The Parys SPCA is sincerely grateful to the Parys community during this lockdown period. Numerous people have given cash donations, dog and cat food, blankets etc.
There is still a great need, however, as there are people who are struggling to feed their animals.
The Parys SPCA keeps a watchful eye on the community and ways to assist wherever possible.
