Two injured in accident between Fochville and Parys

Two people were injured in an accident between Fochville and Parys today.

A 53-year-old driver and 70-year-old passenger were injured this afternoon when they lost control of their light motor vehicle and rolled from the R500 between Fochville and Parys.

ER24 paramedics arrived on the scene along with towing and the Fire Department at 14:21 to find the two women had self-extricated from their vehicle. Both were found to have suffered moderate injuries and were treated on-scene before being transported to Carletonville Hospital for further care.

It is unknown to ER24 as to the cause of the incident.
