There is no time limit for reporting missing children

According to the communication officer of the police in Carletonville, WO Peter Masooa, parents should report missing children as soon as possible and provide the police with a recent photo of the child. Other information like where the child was last supposed to be, the telephone numbers and addresses of friends to whom the child may go helps the police in finding a missing child. They would also require general information about the family, like whether there was recently an argument.
