Sheriff of the Court removes vehicles and furniture from ELM

Failure to stick to an agreed payment plan, lack of financial discipline and abysmal revenue generation and management by ELM are to blame for this state of affairs, says organised business.

According to Eskom’s spokesperson Sikonathi Mantshantsha, Emfuleni owes Eskom R2.3 billion in 2018. Acourt judgment ruled that Eskom could recover R165 million in this debt from the municipality.
