Verskeie onderwysers van Parys het die afgelope naweek erkenning gekry tydens die Departement van Onderwys in die Vrystaat se Well Done-funksie vir skole in die Fezile Dabi-distrik.
Die funksie is by Barnard Molokoane Comprehensive School in Tumahole gehou ter erkenning van die prestasies wat deur dié onderwysers se 2019 matrikulante behaal is. Mev. Niekie Pieterse van Hoërskool Parys het erkenning ontvang vir die beste rekeningkunde uitslae in die Fezile Dabi-streek vir 2019. Hierbenewens ontvang sy ook die Best Teacher-toekenning van die Kagiso Shanduka Trust.
Mevv. Sanci Cilliers en Izelle van Heerden, ook van Hoërskool Parys, het elkeen Best Teacher-toekennings ontvang op grond van die uitslae wat hul matrikulante vir 2019 in die vakke geografie en wiskunde onderskeidelik behaal het.
‘n Nuweling by Hoërskool Parys, mev. Andrea Dednam, het die toekenning ontvang vir die top posisie in die Fezile Dabi-onderwysstreek vir Afrikaans Eerste Addisionele Taal op grond van haar matrikulante se uitslae wat behaal is terwyl sy nog betrokke was by Sasol Hoër in 2019. Ander onderwysers van Hoërskool Parys wat erkenning gekry het omdat hulle onder die top drie in die Fezile Dabi-streek was, is mev. Lindie Daniel met ‘n derde plek vir rekenaartoepassingstegnologie, mev. Ezilda Fouche met ‘n tweede plek vir Afrikaans Huistaal en mev. Jessica Jersich met ‘n tweede plek vir English Home Language
Hoërskool Parys het as skool ‘n goue toekenning by die funksie ontvang.
* ‘n Best Teacher-toekenning van die Kagiso Shanduka Trust is ook aan C.J. van Niekerk van die Salomon Senekal Gekombineerde Skool in Viljoenskroon oorhandig, asook aan wyle mnr. Mofokeng van Phehellang Secondary School. Mnr. Mofokeng is in Desember oorlede.
* ‘n Oudskolier van Parys, Vilecia Swart, is erken vir haar 8ste posisie in die Lejweleputswa Onderwysdistrik in die vak rekenaarstoepassingstegnologie. Sy is verbonde aan Hoërskool Bothaville.

The FS Department of Education’s Well Done Function for the Fezile Dabi District acknowledged eight teachers and the principal of Barnard Molokoane Comprehensive School.
Mr N.J.N. Maine, the school principal, received the award for the Best Perform- ing Principal in the Fezile Dabi District.
In the provincial category, T.P. Phosa and J.G. Nhlapo took home the award for the Best Performance in Mathematics. At the same time, Miss I. Modomisa won the award for the Best Performance in Physical Science.
Miss P. Morallane received the award for the Best Performance in Technical Science, Miss N.R. Mokemane for the Best Performance in Accounting, Miss Q. Lempe for the Best Performance in Economics, P.O. Daze for the Best Performance in Isi Xhosa, and Mr D. Modise for the Best Performance in Civil Technology (Construction).
