After the success of the #ImStaying wall mural, local artist Deon Terblanche has now proposed another artwork for Parys – this time painting the Mimosa Gardens’ concrete wall in Boom Street.
Deon’s idea is to enlist the help of all the schools and nursery schools in Parys to come and help him with the project one Saturday morning.
For the project he need to raise approximately R5000 – R6000 for the paint to complete the project.
The photo is only a rough idea of what Deon suggested – something funky, bright and colourfull, and relatively quick and easy to paint.
As with the #ImStaying wall. once done, a sponsor board will be added to highlight and promote all the sponsors.
It’s Ink is busy making the board for the #ImStaying wall and it will be put up soon.
When posted on Facebook, a lot of positive comments for help were received from Parynaars. What is your thoughts on this project? Are you available to help or to sponsor? Phone or whatsapp Deon on 083 338 4234.
