Time-Link Cargo (TLC) truck almost hijacked on N12 yesterday (28 December) afternoon, after 16:30.

In a tweet posted by SALTruckers(South African long-distance truckers), a TLC truck was almost hijacked by men who were dressed as police officers on the N12, just outside Potchefstroom.

Seen on the dashcam footage, the hijackers stopped the truck on the side of the road. Then shortly afterwards, one of the men drove the truck.

However, the hijackers were not successful but are still at large.

Captain Mvula Chaka, Potchefstroom Police spokesperson could not yet confirm the incident.
