Vehicle stolen from police station

Police spokesperson Captain Aubrey Moopeloa said that the two effective policemen, Detective Constable Masiteng and Sergeant Mohloane were passing near a bridge next to a cemetery in Evaton north when they saw the vehicle inside a stream.
“The policemen thought that due to recent heavy rains the vehicle might have been swept into the stream and that there were people inside it. Police divers and the dog unit were called and managed to take the vehicle out.”
Moopeloa said that it was later discovered that the engine of the vehicle was taken out and it’s the seats were burned.
After making vehicle enquiries it was found that the vehicle was stolen at Lenasia police station. Police are investigating.
