Two injured in hot air balloon accident

At 09H29 Saturday morning Netcare 911 responded to reports of a hot air balloon incident near the M44 in. Soshanguve.

The hot air balloon landed in a veld next to a bus depot off the M44.

Paramedics assessed the scene and found two people with minor injuries.

Once stabilised the patients were transported by ambulance to hospital for further treatment.

Circumstances leading up to the incident will be investigated by the relevant authorities.
