Ten injured in accident

A collision occured late Monday afternoon July 13 in Vanderbijlpark. The collision, that occured in the corners of Louis Trichard Road and Barage Road, involved three vehicles – a taxi, a bakkie and a light motor vehicle.  The collision injured a total of ten people. All the injured people were occupants of the taxi. The injuries that were sustained ranged from minor to moderate. Fortunately no injuries were sustained by the drivers or passengers of the other two vehicles.

ER24 paramedics treated and transported a total of six patients to various hospitals including Emfuleni Hospital and Sebokeng Hospital for further treatment. The remaining patients were transported and treated by other services. The cause of the incident remains unknown, however local authorities were on scene for investigation.
