Volunteers keep an eye to keep school classrooms safe

Please be extra cautious when making open fires, especially in windy conditions during the winter months.
Over the past two weeks, several veld fires were reported in Parys and district, with dry winter conditions increasing the risk of fire. We Care volunteers helped to fight these fires.
Last weekend, they also kept an eye on a fire on the Dome Primary School premises. Fortunately, there was no damage to the school’s temporary classrooms and administration block. Thanks to all volunteers who are helping to fight fires in and around town

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
