One night on stage with Mahalia

In celebration of Women’s Month, Mahalia Buchanan, a South African gospel artist will be performing in Potchefstroom on 5 September.

Potchefstroomers now have a chance to share the stage with her. Auditions to secure a spot to perform with Mahalia will be held at the AFM Potter’s House, Fransman Street Promosa, from 9:00 till 14:00 on 4 July. Registration is from 9:00 – 10:00.

“This event is specifically focused on women,” says Samantha Ponnen, one of the organisers. “We would like to invite ladies who are vocally talented to come and audition. Our aim is to have a variety of women, young and old. This event is not aimed at a particular race group, we just want to give women an opportunity to sing with Mahalia,” she concluded.
