A teacher from The High School for Girls Potchefstroom, Les Cowan, was killed in a car accident yesterday (16 March) afternoon.
According to a message sent to personnel at the school, Cowan and her mother were driving from Rustenburg to Molopo when the accident occurred at about 17:30. Her mother survived the accident but is in a critical condition.
‘Our thoughts and prayers go out to Tammy, Michael, Granny Pines, Vicky, Linda, and their families, friends and loved ones, at this difficult time. May her dear soul rest in peace,’ Girls’ High posted on their Facebook page earlier today.
