Prayer is the hospital’s practice

Prayer is the hospital’s practice

A Facebook user who walked into the Potchefstroom hospital this morning (6 March) was pleasantly surprised to find the nurses in ward 10 engaged in prayer.

According Kgotso Sydney Khumalo, the nurses who were finishing their night-shift were praying before finishing their shift.

“I joined them and while we were singing I heard and noticed that every floor in the hospital has a devotion (sic),” said Khumalo.

“Potch hospital we thank you for looking after our families and friends, your work will never go unnoticed
This is powerful!” he posted on Facebook.

According to Modiri Mompati, spokesperson for the Potchefstroom Hospital, this is the general practice at the hospital.

“We open and close all our meetings, shifts or staff imbizos with prayer. We are dealing with life so we need to have prayer,” said Mompati.
