A teacher’s helping hand to those in need

A remarkable example of caring for others.

Susan Mpolaise is a former teacher. For quite some time now this remarkable lady from Parys lends a helping hand to car guards and those living on the street by giving them a plate of food every Thursday.

This is done at Choppies, in front of Absa and at Shoprite, adding up to a meal for almost 40 people every week.

The past Thursday (13 December), was the year ending for her project, when the meals were handed out to almost 90 people at the Forum building opposite Spar.

And these two helped with the dishes.Susan’s help to those in need is made possible with only her pension money and the help of sponsorships from individuals. A remarkable example of caring for others.
