Sunday morning was the perfect day for the finals – beautiful weather, good bowling greens and lots of spectators. The teams took to the greens and played the most exciting bowls. Burnadine Muller, Lizette Linden and Adeline Earle of Orkney Bowling Club played against Helen Jansen, Jackie Evans and Letitia Fick of Strathvaal Bowls Club, trailing 10-2 in the 8th end. The Strathvaal team pulled it together and eventually won the game 19-15.

2014 Defending Trips champions, Jannie Fourie, Tinus Crous and Piet Croucamp of Klerksdorp Bowls club met the Parys team with a newcomer to the district, Protea player, Rudie Jacobs, Henk Prinsloo and Raymond Laubscher. Both teams played good bowls, but the Klerksdorp team got the edge with a good start of 11-0 after seven ends. Parys made a concerted effort to eventually go down to Klerksdorp 17-12.
