Bail of R20 000 granted

Granted bail of R20 000.

47 Year old Dexter Ntsizwane was granted bail of R20 000  in the Parys Magistrate Court on Wednesday October 10, says, FS Hawks spokesperson, Cpt Sifiso Nyakane.

Ntsizwane faces  charges of dealing with drugs.

This follows after the Hawks’ SA Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB), assisted by members of Multi-Dimentional Organised Crime Intelligence arrested Ntsizwane  on Sunday September 30 after he was intercepted near a filling station in Parys.
Members acted swiftly on information about a suspicious vehicle allegedly transporting Mandrax tablets from Gauteng to the Western Cape.
The vehicle was stopped and searched whereby 30 000 Mandrax tablets to the value of approximately R2,4 mil lion, as well as R15 000 in cash and a grey Ford Focus vehicle were confiscated.

The case has been postponed till November 26 for further investigation. When granted bail he was instructed to report to the Roodepoort Police Station twice a week.
