The man arrested for the rape and murder of a 6- year-old girl from Tumahole on 26 June, was denied bail. He appeared in court on Friday for his formal bail application.
Members of the ANC Women’s League marched to court on Friday to oppose bail for the man arrested.

The community reacted to the incident with anger and outrage.
While awaiting the outcome of the bail application, the Ngwathe mayor, Ms Joey Mochela addressed the group of people who participated in the march.
