Part of the route will be through town, departing from the AfriDome exit at Eerstelaan, and going along Philip Street, Kruis, Water and Breë Streets, among others. There are excellent view points for the mass ride from places like the park in Eerstelaan and along the main street.
The prizegiving function will be at 20:00 on Saturday.
The bands that will be performing include Clint & Co, Black Water, Backbone, Templar Funk and Axe with the irrepressible Herbie the DJ. On Saturday afternoon, there will also be stunts by the famous Brian Capper and the usual 240 m wheelie street on site is available for the whole weekend.
For the first time ever, there will be a drag race machine with two stationary bikes side by side ‘racing’ each other over distances, for example 400m, just like a real drag race, The performance measurements will be shown on a screen just like at professional drag racing venues.
