SAPS members of the Zamdela Cluster under the command of Brig. Morake, together with members of the provincial traffic department, took part in Operation Siela on Friday, 4 August. The special visibility road block was held on the R59 just outside Parys from 10:00 till 14:00. A total of 239 vehicles and 447 people were searched and 12 traffic fines issued, said Col Moloi, the deputy cluster commander. The police and traffic department thanked the public for theirĀ  cooperation and said similar operations will be held in future.
