The West Rand’s first ever arts festival will be hosted at Timez Cafe near the Pick n Pay centre in the Carletonville CBD on 29 April. The event is supported by Gauteng Tourism, NYDA, Merafong City Local Municipality and Merafong FM. Bookings are now open for stalls that sell crafts, food, craft beer, clothing, accessories, art, photography and general business. The event will start at 10:00 and close at 18:00. Entry is free. The event offers entertainment from the house and hip-hop genres, a DJ line up, comedy and poetry. There will also be art exhibitions and a fashion show featuring brands like Ska Mpimpa, Soul Jah, Azishenism, Fresh Wear, Street Fame and Hai Suka. Contact Damian to apply: 074 4403911.
