Lede van COSATU (The Congress of South African Trade Unions) en SAMWU (South African Municipal Workers Union) het vanoggend om 08:00 voor die lisensiekantore in Vanderbijlpark bymekaar gekom in ‘n optog na die Emfuleni Plaaslike Munisipaliteit se kantore om ‘n memorandum te oorhandig.

Hulle is onder meer ongelukkig oor dienslewering, smartmeters en korrupsie.

Die optog is tans rustig en lede van dié unie is sterk op pad na die munisipale kantore.

Sowat 150 lede neem deel aan die optog, baie minder as wat aanvanklik verwag is.
