I usually get a municipal account of R1 500 which is quite low, but still more than my R1 280 pension. This month though, my account was R4 300 for nearly the same reading! I have no money to buy any food or other groceries, now I have to borrow money to pay my municipality account! Please don’t tell me to go and speak to them, because I tried that! They have no sympathy. I heard from a black lady who is also on pension, that she only pays R500 per month. That is why I went to ask for help, but I am the wrong colour.
