Bikers ride against women and child abuse

Come and join almost 300 bikers as they ride through the Northern Free State for an amazing cause.

SASOLBURG. –  The Police in Zamdela are planning to ride throughout the Northern Free State in an attempt to raise awareness on violence against women and children. The campaign which was initiated by the Zamdela Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit, will ride through 11 towns in the Cluster. The Police motorbike riders, Metsimaholo Rejuvenation , different government departments and private motor bike clubs aims to publicly oppose violence against women and children and raise awareness of the negative impact that violence and abuse have in our society. The mass ride will take place on 26 November at 07:30. The convoy will ride from Sasolburg on the R59 Shell garage and move to Parys , Tumahole, Viljoensdrif, Deneysville and end in Zamdela. Motor bikes riders who are interested to be part of this worthy cause may contact Captain Gift Matsheka on 082 8495 496, registration is free and all riders are welcome.
