The South African National Civic Organisation in Fezile Dabi Region calls on communities to donate blood at the South African National Blood Services (SANBS) Centres.

The SANBS is facing one of its most challenging times for blood donation and is calling on the community for help. “As a Civic Movement  , we are concerned that many people don’t take this process very serrious.” Accident and burn victims, heart surgery patients, organ transplant patients, and those receiving treatment for cancer or étc.  all need blood. Donors who choose to give blood can help save as many as three lives each time they donate.

We are calling upon more donors from all blood groups and types.

SANCO Fezile Dabi Region will embark on a massive campaign to assist SANBS in the region to reach its target . We are calling upon communities to make use of the donor centre in Kroonstad or check with SANBS when they will visit their towns or check the SANBS website for a centre nearby.

People in Parys can donate blood on Tuesday 11 October at the Reformed Church Hall in Parys from 13:00-19:00. The target for the day is to collect 100 units of blood.
