Two die in a truck and bakkie collision near Kroonstad

Kroonstad Police are investigating a case of culpable homicide after two trucks and a bakkie collided on the N1 South bound near Kroonstad. The incident happened at about 23:40 on Tuesday. It is alleged that a small truck lost its load and the driver tried to make other road users aware. Two other vehicles Nissan Amarok and a truck, stopped before the accident in the middle of the road in the N1, but were hit from behind by another truck travelling in the same direction (towards Bloemfontein) south bound, the white Nissan Amarok bakkie with two males in their late 20s was trapped under the truck. They were later certified dead on the scene.
