1st JHB MUSIC,a new and fresh record label owned by TheJoshDJ and Bhuti, introduces the Jika Boys, a musical trio from Soshanguve, Pretoria. The trio consists of two vocalists LEON (Aaron Makgaba), TSL (Jacob Mahlangu) and a drummer TJ (ThembaDlamini). Jika Boys rose to fame in 2014 with their single JIKA (Khumbul’ ekhaya) and GAE produced by BEATMOVEMENT, this is a song about loved ones that leave home and never go back (much like the show “Khumbul’ekhaya” on SABC 1).
The Jika Boys specialize in alternative house fused with a touch of electro for an upbeat and energetic sound. This song is trendy and demands you to get on your feet and dance. One can’t help but sing along to the lyrics.
