El Alamein Parade – October 23
The Memorable Order of Tin Hats (MOTH) will have their El Alamein Parade at Freedom Shellhole at 5pm. For more information, contact Mike on 083-730-0916.
SANBS – October 24
The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) will be at Pick ‘n Pay from 9am until 1pm. Please do your part in saving a life by donating blood.
November 15 – Remembrance Day Parade
The Memorable Order of Tin Hats (MOTHS) of the Freedom Shellhole will host the Remembrance Day Parade at 10.30am for 11am at the St Peter’s Anglican Church on the corner of High and Hlobane streets. You are invited to bring along a wreath or flowers to place at the foot of the Cenotaph in remembrance of family, friends or loved ones who paid the highest price. Everyone is welcome.
November 17 – Vryheid Buurtwag / Neighbourhood Watch AGM
The annual general meeting of the Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch will be held at the Klipkerk Hall at 6pm for 6.30pm.
November 28 – NG Kerk Vryheid Kers-Kuier-Basaar
Die NG Kerk-gemeente hou basaar op die Klipkerkplein om 9vm. Vleisverkope, bakhuis, pannekoek, jaffels, perdry en nog vele meer word op die dag aangebied. Vir stalletjie navrae, skakel 083-633-4223.
