Today is Donald Duck Day, a day solely dedicated to one of Disney’s most iconic characters.
Donald made his first appearance in a 1934 film called The Wise Little Hen but his star only started to rise when he starred in Orphan’s Benefit, working alongside Mickey Mouse.
Since then, Donald Duck has become a hugely popular character, best known for his unique voice and his tendency to fly off the rails and lose his cool.
You can celebrate Donald Duck Day by ’embracing your inner angry waterfowl. Dress in blue and gold and add just a splash of red to round it out. When people ask you questions, respond with the partially-legible quack that is Donald’s claim to fame and, whenever possible, fly into a comedic and harmless incoherent rage cussing out everything you loathe in a voice that no one can understand.’
