Caring woman reaches out to those in need
Any donations of household goods, clothing, furniture, food and toys are welcome
Peggy Beetge is well-known in Vryheid for her selfless projects in helping the poor and needy.
Together with donations from the community, she managed to send several bakkie-loads of clothing, food, furniture and even toys for children to informal settlements in Krugersdorp.
A pastor in that area received the donations and distributed them among those in need. The community of Vryheid collected 43 black bags full of clothing, as well as 10 x 20-litre and two x 10-litre food hampers. Any donations of household goods, clothing, furniture, food and toys are welcome. Winter is approaching and the project is in need of warm bedding for those in the settlements.
