Dundee has many musical talents, and Miguel da Silva is one of them. Miguel has written and recorded a number of his own songs, with one of them, Freedom, certainly apt during this time.
“I actually wrote this song for my dad’s 65th birthday, two years ago. To me, he’s always been an example of someone who has enjoyed life to the full and through him I’ve learned that freedom isn’t about wealth or fame – it’s about getting out of the office a bit earlier on a Friday, making time to do the things you love and being surrounded by the people you love.”
With lockdown in full effect, Miguel said spending time with those you love was more important now than ever.
