Readers respond to scathing report on Endumeni by Auditor-General

Many letters and comments have flowed in, following the Auditor-General’s report on Endumeni Municipality, where it was found irregular expenditure topped R118-million:

I will do their job for free! Let’s get the politicians out of the lazy boy chairs! Let’s get willing and competent citizens to run our municipality. I want to see heads roll! Yes, I said it.

Let’s go for independent candidates, ones who will report directly to the community and who will be mandated by it as well. Let us stand up and put a stop to this rubbish. We can do it.
