Could you be a world record holder?

Have you got what it takes to set a new world record?

Do you have what it takes to break a world record? Today – Guinness World Records Day – is your chance to prove you can.

Guinness World Records (formerly The Guinness Book of Records) was created in the early 1950s after the Managing Director of Guinness Brewery, Sir Hugh Beaver argued with his fellow hunting mates over which was the fastest game bird in all of Europe.

He realised the need for a book which housed reference facts. Since then, the book has gone on to become an all-time best seller and one of the most recognised and trusted brands in the world.

DID YOU KNOW: The largest bubblegum bubble blown is 50,8 centimetres?

Guinness World Records Day is celebrated to encourage people to try and break a world record, or set their own record for a feat never before done.
