Circumventing Kyalami is Team Perfect Circle

Planning to upset the form book at the final round of the 2019 Intercontinental GT Challenge series taking place on November 21-23 at Kyalami Grand Prix circuit is the top local drivers from Team Perfect Circle.

André Bezuidenhout, Franco Scribante, Silvio Scribante and Dino Scribante, dressed in Simpson Motorsport racing outfits, will be piloting the Porsche 911 GT3 R during the 9-hour race, competing against some of the best international cars and drivers. Having instilled confidence in their competitiveness within the corporate and motoring arenas, Team Perfect Circle, Coca-Cola and Motul will be sponsoring the South African competitors. This will not be the first time the US-based beverage company has sponsored a Porsche racing car or even a team by this name, the Porsche 917 which was driven by David Piper and Dickie Attwood managed to secure sponsorship from the same company in 1969.

One of the other sponsors, Motul, has been involved in motorsport for some time and now has become the team’s preferred supplier of lubricants. Competing under the South African sun, the Porsche will also be flying Everysun colours, a household name in sun protection locally. Pivotal in providing equipment and parts for the experienced British team, Team Perfect Circle, is Porsche Motorsport. Utilizing the equipment and their vast knowledge in the field of endurance racing, the British team which is hosted by The Capital Hotel & Apartments Group is already preparing the Team Perfect Circle Porsche 911 GT3 R racecar. The team will also be in charge of running the car during the race weekend at Kyalami.

“It is impossible to compete in any form of motor racing without support. Team Perfect Circle is extremely fortunate to have many supporters who have made this dream of racing at the Kyalami 9 Hour a reality. I speak on behalf of all the drivers and the team when I extend my gratitude to Coca-Cola and all our corporate supporters who see the potential in our team, and we hope to reward them with silverware on November 23,” Jonny Westbrook, Team Manager, Team Perfect Circle.
