Among the beneficiaries who received blankets were Vryheid Neighbourhood Watch, who not only keep crime off of Vryheid’s streets, but also assist families in need with their Koskas project when possible, Vryheid Child Welfare, Inkululeko Children’s Home and Vryheid SPCA.

Marco de Wet, Leena Uchee and Herman Weitsz from a local car dealership contributed to the Lakeside Primary Blanket Drive and were able to donate two bags of blankets to André Rheder for the SPCA.

Representatives of each organisation popped in at the school to accept the generous donations of blankets and Mr Kirsten would like to thank the sponsors and donors who continue to give every year to this worthy cause.
