Singer Ricus Nel proved that he has a large fan base in Northern KZN when he performed at Saturday’s Biltongfees at the Battlefields Country Lodge.
Ricus and wife, singer Liza, had the large crowd eating out of their hands with his wit, chat and songs that proved so popular.
His debut album, Sak en Pak was released on 15 Augustus 2011 by Select-musiek. He is famous for the ability to have mastered 13 instruments. His second album “Sout van die Aarde” was released on 28 June 2013. Ricus is married to Afrikaans singer Liza Brönner. The couple married on January 262013.
On Friday he and singer, Snotkop, released their new song, Boerepompie, which by on Saturday morning had notched up over 400 000 You Tube hits.
