Dawid and Peggy Beetge were all smiles as they left the voting station after casting their votes.

The voting station at Karnallie was rather busy, but no incidents were reported as voters queued at the tent to cast their votes in yesterday’s national elections.

We saw a few familiar smiling faces in the crowd and some first time voters, as they happily made their mark for the future of South Africa.

Head of Public Safety, TS Mthembu was at the Karnallie voting station.

Daniel Gryffenberg accompanies his sister, Sinead Hayes, to the voting station where she cast her vote for the very first time.

Vryheid Court Manager, Lungile Mabaso, exercised her right to vote yesterday.

Mpumi Khumalo and Sonto Zondo proudly cast their votes in the 2019 elections.
