Settle in for a movie night in Winterton

Remember to bring along a blanket as it tends to get chilly later in the evening

Following a highly successful movie night in Weenen on Saturday, locals can prepare for an entertaining evening in Winterton this Saturday.

In Weenen, at the Owl and Elephant Lodge, a jolly audience watched MamaMia2, which had them bopping along to the toe-tapping music.

Delicious hamburgers and chips were on sale for everyone to enjoy, as well as support a worthy cause at the same time.

A fundraising movie night will be held at the Winterton Country Club where the Disney movie Moana will be screened.

The main purpose is to raise funds for the Singakwenza Charity Team. Cara du Plooy is part of this charity team and has been enrolled to swim the Midmar 8 Mile.

The Singakwenza Charity Team will host a presentation before Saturday’s movie.

Gates open at 5pm. Hot dogs and wors rolls will be on sale and picnic baskets can be pre-booked by calling Hannali du Plooy on 083 233 4083.

Remember to bring along a blanket as it tends to get chilly later in the evening.
