What are the odds are snow falling in the Dundee area this winter?

Brrr … feeling chilly after the light rain of last night and that grey sky?  Cold biting into you as your power bill bites into your budget as you turn on the heater in a bid to keep warm?

Indeed. Well, no wonder the air is chilly. There is snow in ‘dem hills – well, the Berg. Snowfall has been reported during the last day or so in the Sani Pass area and Drakensberg.

After the dense cloud cover cleared up, it revealed a magnificent cloak of snow on the Drakensberg mountain.

This is the first snowfall of the colder wintry seasons and there could be lots more… even right here in Endumeni…
