First of four auditions: Newcastle Mall seeks local talent
Models, singers, dancers and more – this is your stage!
The search for Newcastle’s next star began last Friday at Newcastle Mall.
Local performers were invited in their numbers to the first of four auditions, which take place through November into December.
Models, singers, dancers and more – this is your stage!
If you have a talent which needs discovering, make your way to the Edgars Court (Entrance 2) from noon on November 17, November 24 and December 1.
The Soil will be the guest judges at the last audition.
With a R10 000 bursary sponsored by Boston College up for grabs by the overall winner, plus numerous category prizes, the heat is on.

One singer will also earn a performance at the 2018 Winter Festival.
The contest culminates with the finals on December 6, where the finalists will compete for the prizes and the title of Newcastle’s next big thing.
