Local attorney, Adriaan Venter, passes on
The circumstances around his passing are still being investigated and despite numerous rumours doing the rounds, the events that led to his death are still uncertain.
Pierre Rousseau, of Propertytimes Real Estate, who is a close friend and business associate of Vryheid attorney, Adriaan Venter, confirmed that Mr Venter has passed away.

Family members are trying to come to terms with the sudden loss and members of the community are requested to allow them time and space to grieve.
Mr Rousseau described Mr Venter as a hard-working attorney, who was always prepared to go the extra mile for his clients.
“My late brother coached Adriaan in swimming when he was still in school, but I really got to know him after he started his practice and we had the opportunity to work together. He was the kind of person who would get in his car and go wherever he was needed to assist a client. He will be sadly missed,” said Mr Rousseau.
