THE eagerly anticipated annual Lions MayFair is a highlight on Vryheid’s calendar of events and will take place on May 5 – 6 this year.
Drawing record crowds every year, the MayFair brings a substantial amount of funding with it, which is then redistributed back into the community by the Vryheid Lions Club, who are a well-known charity organisation, responsible for assisting local individuals and organisations in need.
The support of the community is pivotal in making this popular event possible every year, as well as enabling the Vryheid Lions to plough these proceeds directly back into the local community.
Vryheid Lions Club would like to encourage locals to take part in the MayFair by booking a stall and showing Vryheid’s residents and visitors from afar what you have to offer. From fresh produce, farm stalls, food stalls to locally produced or handmade goods, book your stall at the MayFair by contacting Cindy Mossop on 082 877 4966 or visit the Vryheid Herald Office at 204 Mark Street to pick up a booking form.
The Lions Club of Vryheid was officially chartered in 1973 and forms part of Multiple District 410-C (Eastern South Africa) – Zone 2.
