Urmila Devi Dasi to speak at Hare Krishna Temple

The Hare Krishna Movement invites you to spend the morning of Sunday, November 6, with Her Grace Urmila Devi Dasi from New York, who will deliver a keynote address.

Urmila Devi Dasi (born in 1955 in New York City and also known as Dr Edith E Best) is an American educator. Her father was president and later CEO of the Manischewitz food company, founded by his grandfather.

Urmila Devi Dasi joined the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1973 in Chicago and became a disciple of AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the founder of ISKCON.

Be at the Hare Krishna Temple in Centenary Road on Sunday. The programme will start at 10am.

All are welcome and lunch will be provided.
