Why should I be active?

  • It improves concentration & attention span

  • It relieves stress & freshens you up
  • It helps you maintain a healthy body weight
  • It prevents & help you manage Diabetes, high BP, heart disease & stroke
  • It helps you sleep better at night

How can I be active?

  • You do not need to go to a gym to be active,
  • It can be any form of physical activity that keeps your body parts moving.
  • It could be working in the garden,
  • Playing outside as the family,
  • Walking briskly,
  • Playing skipping rope,
  • Moving along an exercise video in the lounge,
  • Climbing stairs instead of using a lift whenever possible,
  • Parking far from your destination, so you can walk there.

It could be dancing or any other form of sport. Whatever it is, just get moving!
