After 17 years, Ladysmith Secondary School (Lasec) will be hosting the Lasec Community Fair for the community of Ladysmith and in the process will be raising much-needed funds to ensure that the school still remains a site of excellence in education.
The community fair is a project of the school governing body and actively involves the staff, learners and parents of Lasec.
The fair is scheduled for April 16 at the Lasec grounds.
It will start at 11am and continue till late, and will feature family entertainment, ‘edutainment’, local and out-of-town vendors galore, food (both cuisine and street food), sports tournaments, exhibitions, demonstrations, live bands and Ladysmith’s biggest ‘Lasec-Masons Power Car Sound and Show ‘n Shine Competition’.
