Leaders monitor education at Imbabazane Local Municipality

The purpose of this meeting was to review the past performance by schools under the jurisdiction of Inkosi NF Ndaba of the Mhlungwini Tribal Authority

Education is referred to as the scientific upbringing of a child. It is a way of giving skills to a person in preparation for a day to day living contribution to the nation in general. For this scientific spectacle to be successful those in the leadership should infuse value systems.

It is on this note that Her majesty the Chief of the Ndaba clan – Inkosi NF Ndaba together with the Municipality monitors schools every year to make sure that young people are given full support to do well in their subjects for the purpose of nation building.
This is in line with the NDP that makes education priority number one.

Both her majesty the chief of the Mhlungwini Tribal Authority and the Mayor Phindile Strydom work together to promote education in this community. A crucial meeting was held on March 11 at the Mhlungwini Tribal Authority where the Ntabamhlophe Centre Manager, school principals, izinduna, amaphoyisa, councillors and the municipality were invited.
