Oscar goes down for culpable homicide

Judge Masipa has found Oscar guilty on two charges, only.

Day two of judgement for the paralympian continues and these are the results according to East Coast Radio:

Oscar Pistorius has been found guilty on two counts of the four charges he was charged with.

He has been found guilty of:

Culpable homicide:

“Evidential material before this court… shows that the accused acted negligently when he fired into the toilet door, knowing there was someone behind the door,” Masipa said

Illegal discharge of a firearm in the restaurant in Melrose Arch:

“The State has proved beyond reasonable doubt that the accused contravened… the Firearms Act,” said Judge Thokozile Masipa in the High Court in Pretoria today.

He has been acquitted on two charges of:

Illegal possession of ammunition and illegal discharge of a firearm in a public place (the sunroof incident).
