NORTHERN KZN’s biggest Car Show is on Saturday, brought to you by the Vryheid Vintage Car Club. Once again it will be held on the Lucas Meyer Sports Field on the corner of High and South streets, and the gates will open at 7:30am.

There will be as many as 300 cars, tractors, stationary engines and motorcycles, vintage, classics and specials, all reflecting a century of motoring, including an almost unique selection of “Big Light” vintage cars from the 20’s and 30s. You may really never see such a range of Big Lights all in one place and all at the same time, anywhere else. This is the ONLY Big Light show in the whole of South Africa.

There will also be a number of dealers at the show with their new 2014 models. But you don’t have to know the difference between a sprocket and a gasket to visit the Car Show. Some of the cars are simply wonders of engineering and things of beauty in themselves. For the amateur and even the professional photographer, the show is an opportunity to have at your disposal some beautiful old cars polished to perfection.

There’ll be food and drink available for hungry visitors and a selection of other stalls

The entry fee is R25 for adults and R15 for children, from which a number of local charities will benefit.
