While we may not always ‘Keep Up With The Kardashians’, we do like to keep up with the times –  and times are changing!

Some of our readers may have noticed a little code appearing in the paper each week – this code, when scanned with a smart phone, will immediately bring you here to our website page.

For many, the concept of going digital is a little scary and downright confusing. Resistance usually sets in when the realisation hits that newspapers and books are now being accessed in increasingly more digital forms.

For a thoroughbred book lover (like myself), sometimes this change is horrifying! There’s no ‘new book’ or ‘freshly printed newspaper’ smell. You can’t enjoy your morning cup of coffee with your cellphone…Or can you?

We are so busy these days. Sometimes it’s just easier to access information on the go. After all, life is continuously moving forward. The incredible part about human beings, however, is our innate and insatiable ability to adapt.

To continuously grow, we have to change. However, this does not mean the ‘death of print media’ – rather, it’s a more unique way of interaction and entertainment, which may not always come with traditional print media.

So, are you willing to grow with us?

Scan the code below – it will redirect you to our homepage – and enjoy regular updates of what’s happening in our beloved community. We want to hear from you, so feel free to leave your comments!
